Abstract: |
An archaeological evalautaion was undertaken on the site prior to a possible building extension. The building was situated within the Roman town of Corinium (Cirencester). Six test pits were excavated. Deposits associated with a Victorian workhouse were encountered, and in three out of the six pits these overlay surviving Roman layers. [AIP] |
