Abstract: |
Seven trenches were machine excavated as an evaluation in response to a condition upon planning permission for the construction of 28 detached houses. No features of archaeological significance were recorded. The only feature of interest was an 18th century stonewall foundation in Trench 1 and ploughed out ridge and furrows in Trenches 4 and 5.
