Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring and recording work was undertaken during the excavation of footings for a new private house on land adjacent to the former 'Bell' Public House. The site lay within an 'Area of Archaeological Significance' (AAS 35) which defines the historic core of Cottered and adjacent to the 14th century Church of St John. No archaeolgical features were identified during the work. [AIP] |
