Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed development site within an Archaeological Priority Zone. Prehistoric remains and Roman occupation sites had been recorded in the surrounding area, and the course of a Roman road passed nearby. During the evaluation, 19th century glass and pottery were recovered. It was concluded that no further archaeological work would be required. [AIP] |
