Abstract:		 Further archaeological field evaluation was carried out at the proposed Southwick Country Park site in October 1995. An area for a football stadium car park and access road was examined by means of two machine-excavated trenches. There was no evidence for any extension of the area of medieval activity (as identified in the previous evaluation) into these adjacent fields. This second phase of evaluation revealed no archaeological features and only two unstratified, undiagnostic flint flakes were recovered. [Au]
