Abstract: |
A preliminary assessment was undertaken of the archaeological potential of Lotherton Hall Park and its surrounding area. The report was commissioned by Leeds Leisure Services and was intended to inform site management plans and to assist in maximising the historical, educational and recreational potential of Lotherton Hall and its environs. The area studied formed part of a well developed landscape spanning the prehistoric to the post-medieval periods. Recommendations for further evaluatory work and mitigation strategies were put forward. [Au(adp)] |
