Abstract: |
<summary>No evidence of Roman burials was uncovered, though traces of large, backfilled Roman gravel-quarrying pits were found. These had been disturbed by the walls and floors of post-medieval cellars which preceded the present standing building on the site. The opportunity was taken to carry out a photographic survey of the standing (Grade II Listed) building. Some documentary study of the site was also undertaken. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
