Abstract: |
Oxford Archaeology was commissioned by Kent County Council to undertake a series of archaeological surveys of Thurnham Castle. These surveys included a photographic survey of the extant masonry of the castle bailey, a contour survey, and an earthwork hachure survey to attempt to establish the nature and extent of any previously unrecorded features. The features were described and related to what was known of the history of the site. [Au(abr)] |
