Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a housing development. The site lay within an area where numerous Palaeolithic and Neolithic flint implements had been found. Roman pottery and Saxon buildings had also been recorded. Two trenches were excavated, and three 19th or 20th century features were encountered. It was concluded that no further work would be necessary.[AIP] |
