Abstract: |
A desk top study of a site at Wine Street and Bridge Street, Bristol was undertaken as it was proposed to redevelop the site. With the flattening of the area through bombing in November 1940 and subsequent site clearance, the majority of surviving structures of archaeological and historic interest would be cellars. These were still considered to be of importance in the historic landscape. [Au(adp)] |
