Abstract: |
An assessment was carried out for the planned canalside enhancement in an area which lay within the Union Mill Conservation Area. The proposed enhancement would impact upon the canal, railway network and the industrial warehouses, mills and communication networks connected with them. The development area included Albion Mill a grade II Listed Building and several industrial buildings of various dates and functions. Below ground deposits that may be impacted by the development included post-medieval building foundations and an infilled canal basin. [Au(abr)] |
