Abstract: |
Eight evaluation trenches were excavated on the site of the new stadium of Bishop's Stortford Football Club. They revealed a small number of post holes and a shallow linear ditch containing small fragments of Early/Middle Iron Age pottery. In the topsoil a small quantity of post-medieval red brick and tile fragments was found to be ubiquitous over the site. [Au] |
