Abstract: |
The evaluation established that the study area is situated in a part of Bristol that for a long time has known to be archaeologically sensitive. The four trenches excavated contained intact features and deposits that were successfully characterised as medieval or post-medieval. No evidence for human occupation of the area prior to the medieval times were encountered. The features and deposits included buried garden-cultivation soils, masonary structures, cut-features and construction make-up deposits. [Au(abr)] |
