Abstract: |
No sites or artefacts of archaeological significance were recorded within the study area. The site lay within an area that was extensively utilised in the Prehistoric and Romano-British periods for settlement and burial. A settlement of Middle Iron Age date was also known approximately 350 metres to the south and a ploughed out Romano-British site lay immediately to the south. [Au(abr)] |
