Abstract: |
Study of the Kent SMR for the environs of the site indicated some evidence for prehistoric and Roman potential in the area, but more substantially for remains associated with the 14th century leper hospital of Milton, the Chantry chapel of which survived close to the site and was an SAM. Also in proximity was the late 18th century New Tavern Fort. [Au(abr)] |
