Abstract:		 The site was occupied by a 19th century building, constructed following the final infilling of the City's medieval ditch before 1840. The site lay close to a surviving section of the town walls which was a Scheduled Monument. It was not considered that the new building would have any detrimental effects on the historical setting of the monument. [Au(abr)]
