Abstract:
Observations during the groundworks for the erection of a mast and excavation of a cable trench revealed a possible tree bole and the possible spread from demolished field boundary banks. Finds from the topsoil included fragments of clay tobacco pipe stem, occasional charcoal and post 1780s English industrial china. [Au(adp)]
