Abstract: |
Six trial trenches were excavated on the site of the balancing area for phase three of the Stratton Residential Development Area at Biggleswade. Four of the six trenches recovered no archaeological finds or deposits while the remaining two contained features (post holes, a ditch and a pit) but only produced artefacts of 19th and 20th date. It was therefore felt unlikely that any significant archaeological deposits would have survived within the study area. [Au(adp)] |
