Abstract: |
An archaeological desk-based assessment was undertaken of an area 200 ha in size. Several areas of archaeological potential were identified including: a deserted medieval village, ridge and furrow cultivation, a medieval manor house with possible moat, a putative Roman road and general activity and crop marks which could have been prehistoric to Saxon in date.
