Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during groundworks for the construction of a club-house and parking facilities at a golf club. Prehistoric flints and Roman and medieval pottery had been found in the area; three areas of archaeological potential had been highlighted near the site. During the watching brief, a sherd of Roman or medieval pottery was recovered, but no archaeological deposits were observed. [Au(abr)] |
