Abstract: |
A watching brief was maintained during groundworks associated with the proposed moving of the lighthouse from the existing position to a new site to the north. This was needed due to continued coastal erosion. Much of the new area was found to have been heavily terraced during garden landscaping. No features or finds of archaeological interest were located during the work. [Au] |
