The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 The assessment was undertaken prior to the proposed erection of five dwellings. No archaeological remains were recorded from within the site. The only archaeological remains recorded from within the immediate vicinity of the site was a medieval moat immediately to its north. There was no evidence to suggest that the former Woolstrop cottage was of any great antiquity and prior to its demolition following a fire, it was not listed as a building of architectural or historical merit. It was likely that the building was of 18th or 19th century date and was constructed as some form of estate or agricultural property associated with Quedeley or Woolstrop Manor. [Au(adp)]
