Abstract: |
The site fronted Baldock Road, an early route between Buntingford and Baldock, on the edge of the medieval town centre, to the north-west of the medieval market place. The evaluation located a rammed chalk surface, possibly a former yard, two pits and a post hole, all dating to the 19th century. More recent foundations, from a garage, were located on the western side of the site. [Au(abr)] |
