Abstract: |
Possible prehistoric features of 2nd century and 3rd-4th century Roman date were identified and recorded during the course of the watching brief. A possible medieval phase was identified, together with several undated, but probably Roman features. Recent plough damage was observed to have cut into the top of the natural gravel horizon, and had therefore truncated any potential Roman and medieval ground levels. [Au(adp)] |
