Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken at a site where a previous evaluation had revealed no archaeological features. The watching brief was carried out on a part of the site not investigated before. Service trenches were observed, and a series of brick foundations were encountered which represented the northern wing of the 17th century Trinity Almshouses. Two internal rubbish pits and fragments of clay pipe were also found. [AIP] |
