Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out at Buckfield Farm, Leominster, on behalf of Harper Homes Ltd. of Rowley Regis. The site lies in an area of unknown archaeological potential, although survey work in the vicinity has recovered scatters of artefacts dated from the Neolithic, Roman and medieval periods. A limited range of deposits were excavated and recorded, including the truncated remains of ridge and furrow earthworks and a number of undated features. A small artefactual assemblage was also recovered.[AIP] |
