Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken during the digging of foundations for a new parsonage south of St Leonards Church. The development lay adjacent to an area where an Iron Age ditch was previously located by trial trenching. A 2 metre wide ditch was located in the eastern north-south foundation trench. No dating evidence was recovered. Examination of the spoil produced only post-medieval material. [AIP] |
