Abstract: |
Excavation of an irregular area identified a ditch, gully and post pits, which may have formed part of an enclosure. Pottery found in two features suggested that the remains might have dated to the Early/Middle Iron Age. Furrows relating to the open field system and more recent cultivation marks caused by steam ploughing were also identified. [Au] |
