Abstract: |
A concentration of pits, and linear features were exposed on the south side of the site, which related possibly to the church and settlement of Gosberton. A pattern of plough furrow was identified to the north of the site, suggesting that the development was on the edge of medieval activity. Late Saxon artefacts which were recovered suggested pre-Domesday occupation of the area. [Au] |
