Abstract: |
A strip, map and sample program was carried out on the site. A field system comprising ditches of a possible late prehistoric date was identified. Six post holes were recorded that may have formed part of a small structure. These predated the medieval ridge and furrow at the site. A post-medieval moat, gully and roadside ditch were also identified. [Au(adp)] |
