Abstract: |
The structures on the site due for demolition included certain elements of the original vitriol and manure works built c.1873 or earlier. The site contained other structures such as a Listed Grade II chimney, which would remain. Two former buildings associated with Town Mill lay within the southern part of the site. One of these, possibly a piggery, was located beneath building 10 and remains of the other outbuildings may have also survived. The course of the Mill leat would be crossed by the route of the proposed cycle path. [Au(adp)] |
