Abstract: |
Geophysical survey identified several linear anomalies. Two shallow gullies were detected in Trench 8. Both contained medieval pottery. A wide, but shallow, ditch was found in the south-easternmost trench. This contained modern pottery and may have been a former roadside boundary ditch. A number of stone and ceramic land drains of post-medieval date were also found throughout the site. [Au(abr)] |
