Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the demolition of existing buildings and the erection of new extensions to Manor Farm. A short length of wall and associated yard and floor surfaces were revealed on the north side of the house. In the angle between the porch and the south wing of the house, remains of another possible wall foundation were uncovered. Residual pottery of 12th century date was recovered. [Au(adp)] |
