Abstract: |
A watching brief was conducted during ground investigations, primarily borehole drilling, to investigate slope stability. The site was in an area of archaeological interest and also a SSSI. Some modern sherds of pottery and brick fragments were recovered. The land on which the geotechnical investigations took place had previously been disturbed by modern road and footpath construction. No deposits of archaeological significance were identified. [Au(adp)] |
