Abstract: |
The only archaeological feature revealed during the evaluation was a shallow linear feature. It's position and alignment indicated that it almost certainly represented the remains of a former boundary ditch dividing two medieval burgage plots. The ditch appeared to have been infilled almost completely during the medieval period, with pottery recovered from its shallow upper fill indicating that this process was completed during the post-medieval period.[Au] |
