Abstract: |
Four features were identified and appeared to represent probable rubbish or cess pits from the 17th-19th century. Pottery and building materials such as brick and roof tile were in the fills of these features, including medieval pottery. No evidence was found associated with the former medieval settlement of Amesbury. [Au(adp)] |
