Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was undertaken on land which contained known Late Iron Age/Romano-British features, lying to the east of Fishbourne Roman Palace and to the west of the West Gate of Noviomagus (Chichester). Artefacts and features which were revealed spanned from prehistory to the present, with concentrations of occupation in the early Romano-British period, specifically the first century AD, and in the medieval and post medieval periods, from the 15th century to the 17th century.
