Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	A watching brief was undertaken following an evaluation of a proposed development. The area of the watching brief incorporated the eastern part of the former moated site. The moat feature was identified in the location predicted by the evaluation. No pre-modern features were noted in the moat interior area. Several features of post-medieval date were noted; a large pit, two linear features and two possible plant beds. [Au(abr)]
