Abstract: |
Two trenches were excavated on the site. A relict soil horizon was found in trench 1, in which prehistoric flint and pottery were found. A series of parallel features were recorded, three of these contained post hole and stake hole features, which suggested they made up a fence line. Associated finds recovered suggested a modern date. One of the linear features was a metre wide and contained Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age finds. Other undated amorphous features were also identified in the trenches. [Au(abr)] |
