Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken during development work. The brief was prompted by the possible presence of Palaeolithic material within the site. Indeed, three waste flint flakes of Palaeolithic date were recovered. The flakes were not sufficiently diagnostic to be dated closely and could have belonged to any period from the Lower Palaeolithic to Late Glacial, a time span of 500,000 years. [AIP] |
