Abstract: |
Archaeological excavations revealed a wall which was a major feature of the Bristol waterfront at the approaches of the city. The dating of the wall was extremely difficult as no artefacts were revealed in relation to it. Interpretation was therefore difficult but it was suggested that the wall may have been a boundary wall belonging to the Dean and Chapter, possibly an 'internal' division of their estate. [AIP] |
