Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during groundworks associated with the installation of a 66kV overhead cable and associated high and low voltage underground cables. An examination of the open excavations, the resulting spoil and field-walking of the areas adjacent to the new overhead cable failed to reveal any archaeological features, deposits of artefacts, excepting material from the 19th and 20th centuries.
