Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of an academic building. Prehistoric flints and iron age pottery had been found in the vicinity, and the site was once part of a 17th century estate. During the evaluation, a sherd of middle iron age pottery was recovered. Two 18th or early 19th century drains were revealed, and 17th-18th century pottery and clay pipe fragments were found. It was concluded that no further work would be necessary. [AIP] |
