Abstract: |
Salvage recording was undertaken during the construction of a pipeline from Astley to Worcester. The project formed part of a series of similar projects being undertaken by the County Archaeological Service on behalf of Severn Trent Water Plc during the construction of a major new water main. Significant deposits were excavated at three sites which were previously unknown, and artefacts were recovered from many of the fields along the pipeline. [AIP] |
