Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring and recording was undertaken at St Mary and St Andrew's Church. The site of the church lay on higher ground to the south west of the village of Watton-at-Stone. A small quantity of Roman and 19th century finds, and a few fragments of disarticulated human bone, were found within the graveyard soil on the north side of the church during the digging of drains and two new soakaways.
