Abstract:		 A surface collection project was undertaken at Shavard's Farm as part of the Meonstoke Landscape Project supervised by Mark Steadman with the support of King Alfred's College, Winchester. Finds of Romano-British and Saxon material had previously been recovered from the field, but no systematic work had been undertaken. The aim of the work was to record and analyse any artefact distributions, which were likely to span the Romano-British, Saxon and more recent periods. The results were inconclusive and little could be added to the extant body of knowledge. [Au(adp)]
