Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out on groundworks for a new building. The back face of a chalk quarry was revealed, as well as the remains of a flint and brick-built structure of the 17th or 18th century. A single deposit of pottery and animal bones was located. The site was not thought to be settled until the post-medieval period. [Au(abr)] |
