Abstract: |
<summary>Old Fallings Hall and estate are important, they mirror the changes that occurred to virtually all country houses from the 18th century onwards. Unusual features of the house and apparently odd-looking sections are explained in terms of constraints imposed on the 18th century designers by the presence of features pre-dating it and surviving from the older manor house. Later additions and adaptations also played their part. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
