Abstract: |
Monitoring of pipe lying between a point just south of Waldringfield Church and the Bucklesham pumping station recovered relatively little archaeological material as the shallow soil strip did not expose many indications of past activity. However, confirmation of medieval activity close to Hemley Church was found. In an area of known cropmarks south of Church Farm indications of Iron Age and medieval period ditches were recorded.
