Abstract: |
The evaluation trenches on the northern boundary had revealed the footprint of six stone Roman buildings outside of the Roman town. The monitoring of excavations for drainage channels revealed Roman pits, gullies and ditches. Much of the rest of the site was observed as being disturbed, apart from part of the Northgate frontage, which revealed a Roman boundary ditch and a post-medieval lime-kiln. [Au(adp)] |
